First United Methodist Church
The United Methodist Men meet on the fourth Wednesday of each month, January through October, at 7:00 p.m. Regularly scheduled meetings are not held in November or December due to the typical proximity of the fourth Wednesday in relation to Thanksgiving and Christmas.
The meetings consist of a meal, typically prepared by one of the men, a business/ministry discussion, and usually a program or devotional. The meetings are a time of wonderful fellowship in addition to our ministry discussion.
The ministry focus of the United Methodist Men in Bullard is providing scholarships to worthy students in our local area. Since 1997, scholarships have been provided to approximately forty area students. This ministry is sustained through spring and fall garage sale fundraisers each year along with a calendar fundraiser. All proceeds from these activities go directly to the scholarship fund.
All men are encouraged to come share a meal and plan and work together. Plan to come Wednesday, July 28 at 7:00 p.m.
