What We Believe
.
United Methodists share a common heritage with other Christians:
Communion and Baptism
Holy Communion is the highest sacrament of the United Methodist Church. The sacrament is also known as The Lord's Supper, The Last Supper and Eucharist. In communion, we remember God's saving work through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We celebrate Communion in worship on the first Sunday of each month. Baptism is the sacrament of initiation that joins us with the church and Christians everywhere. It is a symbol of our new life in Christ Jesus and God's forgiveness of our sins. Infants, children and adults may be baptized in the United Methodist Church. To arrange for baptism at our worship service, please contact the church office at 903-894-6762.
