Chancel Choir Christmas Cantata
Christmas, for most, is a time of celebration and joy. It is marked by family gatherings with big meals and celebrations. It is a time for the creation of many formative and life-long memories. For some, however, those happy memories of the past become memories of loss and remembrance. Christmas, steeped in family traditions and fellowship, make apparent those family members who are no longer with us. On Sunday, December 15 at 6:30 pm, the Chancel Choir will be presenting a cantata of healing and resolution called “The Longest Night” by Joseph M. Martin. This introspective work is intended to be a worship experience of encouragement for those going through times of sorrow and grief during the holidays.
